Business Assurance Search

The LexisNexis® Business Assurance search delivers centralized, on-demand access to nationwide court filings, business records, and administrative documents that increase visibility for enhanced due diligence, mitigated risk, and stronger relationships.

Reports are sourced individually. The options that you enter and the report types that you select in the search form determine the state and type of information that is manually gathered for the report.

Before you begin:

  • Depending on your product subscription, you may not have access to this search.
  • Enter information in at least one field. When you enter information into multiple fields, your search precision increases.
  • To search more broadly, complete fewer fields.
  • When you search common names, complete as many fields as you can to avoid large result sets.
  • Fields that you must complete are indicated with an asterisk (*).

Search Type

Select either Principal or Business to determine the type of search that you want to complete. The form's fields change according to your selection. For example, for Principal, the SSN field appears. For Business, the FEIN field appears.

In addition to fields, different reports are available depending upon the option that you select.

  • Select Principal to complete a search on a person who is associated with a business.
  • Select Business to complete a search on a business.
