Fictitious Business Names/DBA Search

The Fictitious Business Names search consists of DBA (doing business as) name filings or assumed business name filings from all 50 states and the District of Columbia that are collected from multiple locations including secretaries of state, county courthouses, departments of revenue, departments of taxation, and municipal offices. This information can help you identify and verify business names.

Search Guidelines

  • To search more broadly, complete fewer fields.
  • When you search common names, complete as many fields as you can to avoid large result sets.

Search Type

Select one of the following options to determine how you want to complete the search:
