RiskView Report Search

The LexisNexis® RiskView™ Report is a credit-risk management tool that is designed to help you evaluate the risk that is associated with lending to a consumer. RiskView Report returns a credit report and a credit-based score. RiskView Report is offered to multiple industries, including auto lending, bank credit card issuers, DDA (demand deposit account) opening, retail credit card issuers, short-term lenders, and telecommunications and utility providers.

Before you begin this task:
  • Depending on your product subscription, you may not have access to this search.
  • Your FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) permissible use selection appears at the bottom of the form. Click the link if you need to change your permissible use selection before you run a new search.

At a minimum, you must provide information in one of the following field groups:

  • First Name, Last Name, Street, and either City and State or ZIP Code
  • First Name, Last Name, Street, and either City and State or ZIP Code
  • First Name, Last Name, and SSN
  • LexID®
Procedure:
  1. Select a report type.
    • Select Score to obtain only a RiskView Score for the subject. This option uses one of the RiskView Scoring models (see RiskView Scoring Models).

    • Select Premium to obtain a RiskView Score and a report that delivers detailed insights into key consumer data and behavior attributes for the subject.

  2. Select a scoring model.
    The RiskView models are influenced by the input fields that are populated for a search. As a result, it is possible to receive different score results depending on the input fields that are populated for a search. For optimal results, it is always best to enter as much input information as possible. For more information about scoring models, see RiskView Scoring Models.
  3. Enter the SSN (Social Security number) with or without dashes or spaces (for example, 123456789, 123-45-6789, or 123 45 6789).
  4. Enter the LexID® number that is assigned by LexisNexis® Risk Solutions with or without dashes (for example, 0123-4567-8901 or 012345678901).
  5. Enter the last name.
  6. Enter the first name.
  7. Enter the middle name or the middle initial.
  8. Enter the name suffix (for example, Jr or Sr).
  9. Enter the street address with or without numbers.
    You can also include any other details (for example, Ave, St, Ct, or Blvd).
  10. Enter the city.
  11. Select the state.
  12. Enter the ZIP Code (for example, 12345 or 12345-6789).
  13. Enter a complete phone number with or without dashes, spaces, periods, or an area code (for example, 1234567891, (123)4567891, 123 456 7891, 123 4567891, 123-456-7891, 123.456.7891, 456-7891, or (123) 456 7891).
  14. Enter the subject's DOB (date of birth) information.
  15. Enter the driver license number.
  16. Select the state that issued the driver license.
  17. If you are a retail seller and intend to use the services to issue credit to consumers in California, check the California Credit Reporting Agencies Act box.
  18. To associate your search with a customer or a topic, provide a label (for example, the customer's name or a topic name) in the Reference ID field.
    Note Your organization may require a reference ID in a particular format. Additionally, the contents of this field may be automatically completed or the field may have restrictions that are configured by your administrator.
  19. Click Search.
