Administration

Administrators can use the Administration module to provide users with access to the application. Administrators can add, edit, and delete users and groups. Administrators can also generate reports to monitor use of the application.

Navigation

The Manage Users page loads after you sign in to the module.

Users who have permission to access the application appear in a list that is in the lower portion of the page under the following columns:

  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Access Level
  • User ID
  • Employee #
  • Billgroup
  • Status
  • Locked

Additional columns provide you with options that let you modify the user's details and investigate the user's actions. The following columns are available:

  • Edit/View
  • Copy
  • Investigate

Tools

Tools on the page let you navigate the page and determine which users appear in the list. The following tools are available:

Specify the Number of Records to Appear on a Page
You click the number of records in the Show list to specify how many users appear on each page.
Page Through Records
You click the arrows above or below the list to move to the next and the previous pages. Single arrows move to the next or the previous page. Double arrows move to the end or the beginning page.
Display Records Starting With a Letter
You click a letter above the list to view records for users with last names that start with only that letter.
note.pngAfter you select a letter, the Filter the List by Access Level and Filter the List by User Status options are applied only to users with names that begin with the chosen letter.
Reset the List
You click Reset to remove the letter restriction and view all of the records.
Filter the List by Access Level
You click Admin, User, or All to view only users with the corresponding level of permissions.
Filter the List by User Status
You click Active, Inactive, Permanently Inactive, or All to view only users with the corresponding status.
Sort Columns
You click a column title to sort user records alphanumerically. The arrow indicates whether the sorting is A–Z or Z–A.
