InstantID Product Configuration Settings
You can set configuration options for LexisNexis® InstantID® at the group level.
Procedure
- In the Administration module, point to Groups, and click Manage Groups.
- At the top of the page, select the billgroup that is associated with the group, and click Select.
- Select the group that you want to modify.
- Select InstantID® Consumer Verification.

The product configuration settings for InstantID searches must be kept in sync between the portal and LexisNexis® Risk Defense Platform (RDP) in production to avoid conflicts and unexpected behavior in the transactions. - Include CL Override
- If this option is selected, then the search considers cross-linked SSN (Social Security number) values for an identity unacceptable and reduces the CVI (comprehensive verification index) to 10.
- Include MS Override
- If this option is selected, then the search considers multiple SSN values for an identity unacceptable and reduces the CVI to 10.
- Include MI Override
- If this option is selected, then the search considers multiple identities for an input SSN unacceptable and reduces the CVI to 10.
- Include PO Box Compliance
- If this option is selected, then the search considers a PO Box address unacceptable and reduces the CVI to 10.
- Include Compliance Cap
- If this option is selected, then the search applies a CIP (customer identification program) policy-verified element compliance cap on the CVI calculation to limit the CVI values that are returned when the CVI Include DOB or CVI Include DL options are enabled.
- Include DL Verification
- If this option is selected, then the search attempts to verify the input driver license number and state to the input identity.
- Include Email Verification
- If this option is selected, then the search attempts to verify the input email address.
- DOB Match Type
- Defines what type of match to use for the search.
- Include All Risk Indicators
- If this option is selected, then the search returns all risk indicators. If the default setting is applied, then the search returns up to six risk indicators.
- Exact Match
- If this option is selected, then the search requires an exact match on specific fields.
Options:
- Exact Last Name
- Exact First Name
- Exact First Name or Nickname
- Exact Home Phone
- Exact Address
- Exact SSN
- Exact Driver License
- Last Seen Threshold (in months)
- Integer value for the number of days since the input identity was last seen active at the input address to consider the address verified.
The default value is the transaction date plus 365 days.
Options: 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 - Global Watchlist Treshold
- Indicates the level of selectivity the search includes, where 0.7 allows loose name matching and 1.0 requires an exact match.
- Version Number
- Integer value for the version of InstantID to use for the search.
- Disable Customer Network
- If this option is selected, then the search disables the use of customer network information in the verification and the calculation of the CVI.
- Disable Non-Government DL Data
- If this option is selected, then the search excludes non-government driver license source data.
- CVI Include DOB
- If this option is selected, then the search considers the input DOB in the CVI calculation.
- CVI Include DL
- If this option is selected, then the search considers the input DOB in the CVI calculation.
- CVI Include ITIN
- If this option is selected, then the search disables the invalid SSN CVI override and allows an input ITIN (individual taxpayer identification number) to return the calculated CVI value.
