Real Property (Property Assessments, Deeds & Mortgages) Form Search Method

You can use the form method to perform a Real Property search.

Procedure
  1. If it is not already selected, then select Form Search.
  2. On the right side of the search form, under Content, select the source you want to use. Select any of the following options:
    • Real Property
    • Mortgages and Property Deeds
    • Property Assessments
    • Mortgage Releases and Assignments
  3. To include only the most recent deed, mortgage, or assessment record, ensure that the Current Records Only switch is ON. If it is OFF, then the result sets may be very large.
  4. Enter the last name.
    tip.pngToggle the Include Similar-Sounding Last Names switch ON to include or exclude names that match, sound like, or have a similar spelling.
  5. Enter the first name.
    tip.pngToggle the Include Nicknames of First Name switch ON to include nicknames.
  6. Enter the middle name or the middle initial.

    To enter the full name as one search field, toggle the Single Name Entry Fields switch ON, and enter the name.

  7. Enter the name of the company.
  8. Enter the street address with or without numbers.
    You can also include any other details (for example, Ave, St, Ct, or Blvd).
  9. Enter the city.
  10. Select the state.
  11. Enter the ZIP Code (for example, 12345 or 12345-6789).

    To enter the city, state, and ZIP Code as one search field, toggle the Single City, State, ZIP Code Fields switch ON, and enter the information.

  12. Enter the county name.
  13. Enter the assessor parcel number for the property (for example, ABCD12345).
  14. To associate your search with a customer or a topic, provide a label (for example, the customer's name or a topic name) in the Reference ID field.
    The History function lets you view the searches that are associated with a reference ID.
    note.pngYour organization may require a reference ID in a particular format. Additionally, the contents of this field may be automatically completed or the field may have restrictions that are configured by your administrator.
  15. Click Search.
