Sign in with Multi-Factor Authentication

You may need to complete additional authentication to sign into the application.

When you sign in from an IP address that is not recognized by the application, you are required to provide a LexisNexis® One Time Password (OTP) that you receive in the form of an email, voice mail, or text message during the sign-in process. One example of when this multi-factor authentication might occur is if you sign in from a hotel or a coffee shop. For information about registering for remote access, see Multi-Factor Authentication.

Procedure
  1. Sign in to the application. See Sign in.
  2. On the Terms for Use of Data page, click Confirm.
  3. Choose how you want to receive your OTP.
  4. Click Send.
    The OTP is sent by the application.
  5. Enter the OTP that you receive, click Send, and click Continue.
    The OTP is valid for 60 minutes. If you do not receive the OTP, click Choose another delivery method to return to the previous screen.
    Upon successful verification, a page with new announcements opens. If no announcements are available, you are directed to your home page. If you have set a search form as your start page, you are directed to the search form.
