The search also identifies potentially high-risk data. This data may include a prison address, a campground address, a disconnected phone number, or an SSN of a deceased person. LexisNexis FraudPoint Score is a statistically-built model that is designed to help predict fraud and material misrepresentation. The service provides an easy-to-understand numeric score and risk codes to pinpoint high-risk applications. The scoring model predicts true-name and synthetic name fraud and legitimate customers who may be more likely to commit fraud.
