Clone User ID

Administrators can copy an existing user ID.

When you create a new user ID, you can use a blank form, or choose an existing user's ID to copy the billgroup number and the assigned groups to the new record. To create a user ID from a blank form, see Add User ID.
Procedure
  1. In the Administration module, search for the user's record with the same billgroup and groups as the new ID that you want to create.
  2. Click (Copy).
  3. Enter a user ID for the new user account.
    This is the ID that the new user enters to sign in to the application.
  4. Enter the user's last and first name.
    This name appears in the upper-right corner of the application after the user signs in.
  5. Enter the user's employee number.
  6. Enter the user's cell phone number.
  7. Enter the user's email address.
  8. Enter and confirm a password for the new ID.
  9. Users are required to change this password the first time that they sign in. If both passwords match, the red X changes to a green check mark. For information about password requirements, see Password Requirements.
  10. Select either Active or Inactive to determine the current access status for the user.
    Users who are inactive are not able to successfully sign in to the application.
  11. Select the Product that the user will use.
  12. Select the groups with which the user will be associated.
  13. Click Save to create the new user ID.
