Run a myTask

myTasks is a collection of searches that accomplishes a particular task.

Procedure
  1. From either the home page or the Search Menu, select a myTask.
    note.pngIf Broken is displayed next to a myTask, then a search that is part of the myTask is unavailable. You cannot access a broken myTask. Notify the myTask manager when you see a broken myTask.
  2. Enter search terms.
    LexisNexis® Risk Solutions determines which of the terms that you enter are the best search terms to use for each automatic search that is part of the myTask.

    Search indicators indicate the type of search and whether the minimum search criteria has been met.

    • indicates an automatic search. Automatic searches are run simultaneously after you submit the myTask.
    • indicates that the minimum search criteria for the automatic search has been met.
    • indicates that the minimum search criteria for the automatic search has not been met.
    • indicates a manual search. Manual searches do not need to meet minimum criteria to submit the myTask.
  3. Enter a Reference ID to associate with each search that is part of the myTask.
    A reference ID could be a customer's name or a project.
  4. Toggle the switches to modify search options.
  5. Click Search.
Results
Automatic searches are run simultaneously, and you can access the results and reports. Manual search forms are available after the automatic search results are returned. The search terms that you entered into the myTask search form are copied into the manual search forms.
